Chapter 38

Chapter 38: Enjoy the Blue Smile Alone (Part 2)

"Master..." Hearing Feng Lan's call, Si Cang Qing quickly walked over, his voice slightly heavy, "Why are you

up?" While speaking, he picked the other person up.

"I'm fine now," Feng Lan quietly lowered his head, leaning against Si Cang Qing's embrace. "Master, I just heard

that you announced in the morning court..."

Understanding what Feng Lan was about to ask, Si Cang Qing straightforwardly replied, "I have already declared

you as the Crown Princess. The wedding ceremony will be held on April 14th."

Feng Lan suddenly raised his head, staring at Si Cang Qing's indifferent expression. His heart was surging with

various emotions, and he could no longer distinguish what he truly felt! Originally, when he heard Qingxu

hurriedly and joyfully tell him that Si Cang Qing had publicly announced in the court to make him the Crown

Prince's consort, he could only feel disbelief. Although the customs here were open, marrying a man was

unprecedented, let alone someone of Si Cang Qing's status.

Now, I have received confirmation from Si Cang Qing…

"Master," Feng Lan sighed, reaching out to tightly wrap his arms around his neck, pressing his entire body against

him. Countless words wanted to be conveyed, but in the end, they turned into a sigh.

Holding Feng Lan and sitting on the couch, Si Cang Qing said calmly: "Lan, you will always be by my side, there

is no way back."

Feng Lan smiled lightly, gazing at the other person with gentle eyes, and said softly, "Through thick and thin, I

swear to follow you to the death."

Si Cang Qing's coldness and arrogance command respect and admiration; but his warmth and care are like opium,

making one unable to resist and willingly sink. To fall in love with him means there is no turning back—either

eternal bliss in the mortal realm or a descent into the nine layers of hell.

In his eyes was a faint pleasure, as Si Cang Qing delicately caressed Feng Lan's brows and eyes, his fingers

slowly sliding down, then gently lifting Feng Lan's chin. His lips pressed against that soft spot he was so fond of,

lingering and sucking, unable to part.

On April 14th, the Crown Prince of Canghuan Kingdom celebrated his eighteenth birthday with an unprecedented

wedding ceremony. In front of the public, Si Cang Qing openly married a man as the Crown Princess.

This act shocked the three kingdoms, and even long after, it was still a topic of conversation among the people.

Singing and laughter filled the grand hall. After the grand ceremony at the Temple of Heaven for the Crown

Prince's wedding, a banquet was held for officials of the third rank and above.

"Lord Liu, today is His Highness the Crown Prince's day of great joy. Why do you look so troubled?" Qiu Ping

Tian asked, playing with the wine vessel in his hand, stared at Liu Yi at the same table, smiling playfully.

"Lord Qiu, thank you for your concern, but I'm fine." Liu Yi replied lightly, then stood up. "It's getting late, so I'll

take my leave first."

Qiu Ping Tian also stood up with a smile and said, "I'll go with you!" Glancing at the empty upper seat, he

murmured to himself, "Your Highness won't be attending anyway, so there's no point in me staying here."

The two then left the main hall, leaving behind a scene of lively activity.

"Father," Liu Yi returned home and found Liu Ziwen drinking alone again, "Why aren't you attending the prince's

wedding banquet and instead drinking alone at home?"

Looking up at the other person, Liu Ziwen smiled amiably and said, "Those lively occasions should be left to you

young people. I am old and don't like crowded and noisy places." Changing the subject slightly, with a hint of

surprise, he asked, "Why are you back so early?"

"The child is just like his father, he doesn't like noise." As he spoke, Liu Yi also sat next to his father, picked up

another wine vessel, and poured a cup for himself.

Staring at Liu Yi in surprise, Liu Ziwen frowned slightly, "Yier, I have never seen you drink before, why are

you...?"

"Heh," Liu Yi smiled softly, with a myriad of emotions flowing through his eyes, "I suddenly feel like drinking

today. Father, I'll toast you a glass."

"You..." Liu Ziwen asked, putting down the wine vessel, with a complicated look in his eyes, "Yier, what

happened to you today?"

After a slight pause, the little smile on Liu Yi's face faded, his eyes were confused, and he whispered: "Nothing

is wrong with this child."

Gazing at Liu Yi for a long while, Liu Ziwen finally averted his gaze, his eyes drifting far away, his voice

somewhat ethereal, "Yi'er, you are already twenty-five years old now. I have been neglecting your marriage all

this time. With the prince's wedding today, I finally remembered that you should also be getting married and

starting a family."

"Liu Yi is devoted to the people and has no time to care about marriage at this moment," Liu Yi said in a calm but

resolute tone, "Father, please don't worry about this."

"Yier, you..." Liu Ziwen's expression was restrained, his eyes became sharp, and he looked at the other person.

After a moment, he asked tactfully: "Do you have someone you like?"

Looking back at the other person in astonishment, Liu Yi's eyes were filled with surprise as he said, "Father, how

could you think that?"

With a sigh, Liu Ziwen asked with a bitter smile, "I was just asking casually, Yi'er..." Saying this, he stood up and

prepared to leave, "Don't fall in love with someone you shouldn't."

What does it mean to fall in love with someone you shouldn't? Liu Yi inexplicably watched his father's figure

disappear outside the door, and after a while, he snapped back to reality. Seeing the drinks on the table, a faint

sense of melancholy suddenly rose in his heart...

Lingering on.

The banquet is just as lively, only the main character has changed.

In the center of the venue, a stunning red figure danced wildly. The flowing sleeves fluttered, partially obscuring

the dancer's face as they twirled.

Suddenly, a gust of wind passed by, and the person turned back with a smile. Those seductive eyes, that

world-altering beauty, were beyond comparison. The people at the table couldn't help but swallow, their eyes

wide open, lust evident, as they desperately followed the enchanting figure dancing with the wind.

The music gradually stopped, and the dancer turned around gracefully, put down his hands and stood on his feet,

with his face half-hanging, a light smile on the corner of his mouth, and said in a low and tender voice,

"TianYang is embarrassed." ((used self-deprecatingly, e.g. when asked to sing a song) to put one's artistic

incompetence on display)

With just one smile, he stunned the entire audience.

The dancer in red, with his eyes slightly lowered, captured all the greedy expressions in his peripheral vision, yet

showed not a hint of displeasure, his lips maintaining a perfect curve.

"Alright, alright!" A rough voice broke the silence of the entire venue. A short, stout, and bearded middle-aged

man squinted his eyes into slits as he looked at the young man in the elevated position. "Your Highness, the

Third Prince, people say that our Prince of Hongcheng, the Twelfth Prince, is the most beautiful in the Three

Kingdoms, unmatched in looks. Today, upon seeing him, I must say, the Twelfth Prince is indeed a rare beauty in

this world!”

"Haha," the young man known as the Third Prince laughed heartily, his eyes deep as he glanced at the person

standing quietly, "Indeed, the beauty of the Twelfth is rare in the world! Since Old Wei praises the Twelfth so

much, I will let the Twelfth serve you well."

Old Wei, with a shameless grin, repeatedly declined, "How could I dare let His Highness the Twelfth serve me..."

Cheng TianYang's expression remained unchanged. He walked slowly to the side of Elder Wei's table, smiled,

half-knelt down, and held the wine vessel in his slender hands. "Elder Wei, you are too modest. It is an honor for

TianYang to serve you."

Old Wei's face was exceptionally pleased, and with a hearty laugh, he gave Cheng TianYang a hard pinch on the

arm before taking a sip from the wine cup that Cheng TianYang had brought to his lips.

Throughout, Cheng TianYang maintained a faint smile, adding a touch of brilliance to his already stunning

beauty.

As if completely unaware of Old Wei's actions, Third Prince of Hongcheng, Cheng TianYi, appeared cheerful

and enjoyed drinking and chatting with everyone.

After three rounds of drinks, someone suddenly spoke up and said, "That young man Si Cang from Cang Huan

State is quite arrogant. He actually ignored the opposition of the court officials and stubbornly married a man as

his consort. Tsk tsk, I wonder what that prince consort looks like, to make someone who is revered like a god by

the people of Canghuan so infatuated!"

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone's interest was piqued, and they began to chatter excitedly. Some

talked about the appearance of the Crown Princess, while others discussed the new policies of Si Cang Qing.

For a time, it was extraordinarily lively.

Cheng TianYi listened to everyone's conversation, sipped sake, and smiled mysteriously. On the other hand,

Cheng TianYang was not curious at all, and just quietly poured wine for these important ministers.

Outside the palace, the moon climbed to the treetops, its silver glow gently enveloping the entire palace.

Inside, red candles flickered, igniting small sparks of warmth.

The originally simple decorations had all turned into vibrant red attire. In front of the bed, lovers whispered sweet

nothings to each other.

All the necessary formalities had been completed. Si Cang Qing waved away all the attendants and approached

Feng Lan, who was dressed in red. Seeing the other person looking somewhat at a loss, he reached out and pulled

him into his arms, lifting him sideways.

"Master..."

The festive red, contrasting with Feng Lan's delicate features, made him look somewhat enchanting.

Si Cang Qing gently placed Feng Lan on his big bed, then rolled over and pressed himself on top of him, his eyes

fixed on Feng Lan's.

Feeling a premonition of what might happen, Feng Lan's face turned slightly red. In fact, ever since he recovered

from his illness, he had been sharing the same bed with Si Cang Qing for the past few months, and more often

than not, they were quite intimate.

Si Cang Qing kissed Feng Lan's brow, his lips gradually moving down to the corner of his mouth, his voice low

and lazy, "Lan, from now on you are my wife, the Crown Princess of Canghuan, and the future Empress of

Canghuan."

"Mm..." Feng Lan unconsciously let out a soft moan, his hands tightly gripping Si Cang Qing's shoulders. Seeing

his own reflection in his misty eyes, Si Cang Qing's gaze suddenly darkened. He raised his hand and waved, and

the large red bed curtain fell, obscuring the infinite allure within.

The sometimes light and sometimes heavy panting, groaning, and occasional exclamations echoed in the new

house for a long time…

Until the red candle burns out.

People laugh at the spring—how many dreams are there? The golden incense and ashes turn to dust.
