Chapter 166

Chapter 166: Longing for the Southern Kingdom's Lord,

Unspoken Words (Part Three)

The swirling dance gradually slowed. The zither music abruptly softened, and the person, with light steps,

approached Si Cang Qing. With a flick of their sleeve, they struck the other's face.

Si Cang Qing shifted slightly, feeling an arm, like a nimble snake, coil around his neck. A flash of red light

appeared before his eyes, and with the sudden silence of the zither, the person sat on his lap.

Another arm followed, wrapping around the other's shoulder. Cheng Tian Yang sat on Si Cang Qing, their bodies

pressed tightly together. He stroked the other's face, breathing softly into their ear, "Was my dance beautiful?"

"Very beautiful," Si Cang Qing replied quickly, raising his hand to tighten his grip on the other's waist.

With a giggle, his dreamy eyes shimmering softly, Cheng Tian Yang lightly touched the other's face and

whispered, "Am I the most beautiful?"

Sicang Qing paused, not answering immediately. He simply loved this person's dance—its graceful movements,

once a kind of opulent yet decadent style, now an unrestrained and vibrant exuberance—so calling it beautiful was

natural, but…the most beautiful? He naturally didn't have that concept.

"What?" Taking a slight step back, Cheng Tian Yang's lips curled into a smile, "Doesn't Your Majesty think I'm

the most beautiful?"

Beauty, in his eyes, was unimportant. Si Cang Qing didn't voice these words aloud. He keenly sensed the subtle

threat beneath the man's smile, and replied, "The most beautiful."

"Heh," Cheng Tian Yang's eyes crinkled with laughter, his tone becoming even gentler, "When did Your Majesty

learn to be so insincere? Such hypocrisy, so utterly deceitful!"

Speechless, Si Cang Qing simply stared at the man in silence.

Then he heard Cheng Tian Yang chuckle softly, "Since Your Majesty says I'm the most beautiful, why do you

frequent those brothels?"

Now he was certain that the man's sarcastic tone stemmed from anger at his recent actions. Si Cang Qing kissed

the other's lips, his apology flowing smoothly and naturally: "I'm sorry."

This apology, devoid of any remorse, made Cheng Tian Yang glare at him. "Fool!" The more he thought about it,

the more his anger burned. He lowered his head and bit the man's neck hard.

Si Cang Qing remained silent, letting the man vent his anger.

“It’s been a few months, and you’ve learned this perfunctory way of behaving… You must have picked up that

bad habit from Qi Shuangran!” Cheng Tian Yang pressed relentlessly. “Going to brothels like that, you might as

well learn from those emperors of the past and select a thousand or so women from the common people to expand

your harem!”

Cheng Tian Yang berated him point by point, while Si Cang Qing listened silently, his indifferent expression

revealing a hint of nonchalance. Occasionally, he would be tickled by the man’s unassailable glare, and would

occasionally kiss the man’s opening and closing lips.

“You!” Breathless from the kisses, his cheeks flushed, Cheng Tian Yang was so angry that he tried to stand up,

but was helplessly held tightly in the man’s arms. In the struggle, he suddenly felt a strong gaze, turned around,

and paused for a moment before suddenly remembering the person they had forgotten to leave.

His body stiffened slightly, and Cheng Tian Yang fell silent. It was only upon suddenly seeing this person that he

had changed his mind. Although he knew full well that Si Cang Qing had had no real contact with this man

whatsoever… the anger deep within him simply couldn’t be shaken off.

Sensing something amiss in the man’s mood, Si Cang Qing followed his gaze and saw Zi Xi staring straight at

him. His brows furrowed slightly, and he spoke coldly, “Get out!”

Zi Xi bit her lip and stood motionless for a long moment.

"Heh, Your Majesty, how can you treat someone so heartlessly?" Cheng Tian Yang turned around, a smile playing

on his lips, teasingly tapping the man's cheek with his finger. "Didn't you come to Hongdu for him?"

Resigned, Si Cang Qing once again silenced the man’s sarcastic taunts with a kiss. After parting for just a moment,

he said succinctly, “You know exactly what I mean. ”Whether it was the purpose of coming to Hongdu or his

behavior in Harbin these past few days, he believed this person saw everything as clearly as a mirror.

“Why should I understand?”

The retort sounded as soft and alluring as this person’s demeanor, carrying a soul-stirring charm.

“You are my wife.”

Question met with answer; a hint of gentleness lingered in his cool, detached voice.

A smile she couldn’t suppress played across her face, yet Cheng Tian Yang turned her head away and snorted.

“Because I’m your wife, I’m supposed to understand you? So that gives you the right to run around in brothels?”

This man… really, he was taking advantage of every opportunity.

Though he thought this, Si Cang Qing paid it no mind and made no further attempt to explain—it likely wouldn’t

have done any good anyway. He merely cast a cold glance at the youth frozen in place and uttered icy words

through his thin lips, “Didn’t you hear what I said? Get out!”

The youth’s face turned deathly pale. He shot Cheng Tian Yang a glare that was part resentment, part anger, then

darted out of the room.

The door slammed shut with a clang.

“Your Majesty is truly efficient!” Cheng Tian Yang eyed Si Cang Qing with a smirk. “Your little lover has only

been by your side for a few days, and you’ve already spoiled him into such lawlessness?!”

Si Cang Qing merely replied indifferently, “Ignore him.”

“How can Your Majesty just ignore him? He ran off heartbroken… Shouldn’t Your Majesty go after him?”

Hearing the man's relentless nagging, Si Cang Qing fell completely silent. Truly… the more he said, the more

mistakes he made. He had known Cheng Tian Yang for a long time and, if the other man truly held a grudge, it

wouldn't be easily resolved in a few words or even a day or two.

The room fell silent, the atmosphere between the two becoming somewhat tense.

A sharp pain shot through his neck. Si Cang Qing lowered his eyelids slightly. This man really liked biting him.

"Why isn't Your Majesty speaking? Are you angry?" Cheng Tian Yang asked softly.

Gently stroking the man's waist, Si Cang Qing replied indifferently, "No."

With a slight sigh, Cheng Tian Yang obediently leaned against the man's chest, saying nothing more for a moment.

He had indeed lost his composure just now! Although he wasn't particularly magnanimous, he wasn't necessarily

vindictive or unreasonable. It was just…

His mind was in turmoil.

"Your Majesty, you are forbidden from going to brothels again!"

After a long silence, Si Cang Qing suddenly heard this command and replied without hesitation, "I won't."

"And you're not allowed to associate with shady characters!"

"I won't."

"Get rid of that Zi Xi thing as soon as possible!"

"Good."

Slightly satisfied, Cheng Tian Yang curved his lips into a smile, wrapping his arms tightly around the other's

waist, snuggling comfortably in his embrace, "There are others, I haven't thought of them yet..."

"Whatever you say."

"Yeah, right!" Hearing this, Cheng Tian Yang gave a slightly disdainful rebuke, but his words... The smile in his

eyes was impossible to hide. "Then if I said you divorced everyone else, would you do it?"

"No."

"You!" This person's unwavering answer left Cheng Tian Yang speechless, taking a long time to react. "You idiot!

When did you become so wicked?"

The coldness in his eyes softened slightly, and Si Cang Qing gazed gently at the whoosh of hair pressed against his

face. "Always like this."

Over the years, although he had completely integrated into this other world… to be precise, this was his world;

everything from his past life had long since vanished like fleeting words. However, he had always remained

himself.

Except for the added ties of a few people.

Except for the willing… indulgence and pampering of them.

Enjoying the tranquility of their embrace for a while, Cheng Tian Yang spoke again after a long pause, his tone

slightly displeased, "You idiot, you've made me almost forget I'm still angry with you!"

"Don't be angry," Si Cang Qing said very softly. This shout was almost maddening. Cheng Tian Yang sat bolt

upright, his eyes wide. "Don't try to bewitch me!"

Did he think he didn't know? Before Qi Shuangran's wedding, he had been drinking alone, shaking his head and

saying he couldn't fall for a honey trap… Although he didn't quite understand how this person used a honey trap,

it was probably like this: he hadn't done anything, just gently yielded and whispered in his ear, creating the illusion

that he was willing to succumb.

Hearing this, Si Cang Qing simply gazed quietly into the man's eyes, a slight smile playing on his lips.

Cheng Tian Yang froze, his hand involuntarily touching the man's lips. He murmured, "No wonder… no wonder

Qi Shuangran said a honey trap was this man's smile?"

This person, always so cold and almost devoid of warmth, smiled slightly, a simple curve of the lips, and it was

like melting ice on a snow-capped mountain peak—clear and cool, instantly captivating and irresistible.

"Yang..."

A sigh-like call echoed in his ears. Cheng Tian Yang suddenly lowered his hand, raising an eyebrow. "Don't try

that. Your honey trap has absolutely no effect on me!"

Hearing this, Si Cang Qing was slightly taken aback… a honey trap? He hadn't actually thought of it that way;

he'd just inadvertently noticed that Qi Shuangran seemed unable to resist his 'smirk,' so… he'd simply learned this

technique.

"Idiot!" Meeting his gaze, Cheng Tian Yang scolded, both amused and exasperated. "You've really been corrupted

by Qi Shuangran!"

Looking at his gentle expression and the no longer fake smile, Si Cang Qing didn't argue. Good or bad, he didn't

care. He, Si Cang Qing, had never intended to be a good person… just knowing they were no longer angry or sad

was enough.

The arm that had reached his waist nestled in the man's embrace, his fingers intertwined with his. A slight smile

played on his lips as he finally asked the crucial question, "Has His Majesty come to take me back to the capital?"

"Yes."

"Heh," he chuckled, not answering directly, but instead asking, "Mo Qing Jue… how is he?"

Somewhat puzzled by the man's question, the others, though acknowledging his existence, avoided the topic.

Si Cang Qing pondered for a moment, then carefully replied, "He's out of danger, but he can't wake up."

"I see…"

Cheng Tian Yang suddenly fell silent. Si Cang Qing was unsure of his thoughts; after all, this man had reacted

the most strongly that day.

After a long silence, Cheng Tian Yang sighed and asked solemnly, "Your Majesty, how do you intend to deal with

this calamity?"

"What do you mean?"

After another moment of silence, Cheng Tian Yang slowly spoke, "Since you intend to keep Mo Qing Jue, the fact

remains undeniable—the divination of Pavilion Master Feng. Have you considered why Mo Qing Jue is your

calamity?"

Without an immediate answer, Si Cang Qing's expression also became serious, his eyes filled with deep thought.
