Chapter 168
Chapter 168: Longing for the Southern Kingdom's Lord,
Unspoken Words (Part 5)
The setting sun cast its magnificent colors across the azure sky.
Looking out, a vast grassland stretched out, a clear, cool stream meandering along, its waters shimmering with
beautiful sunset light before disappearing into the distant forests.
Two swift horses galloped like lightning, one after the other. The young man, facing the setting sun, cracked his
whip, his clear laughter carried on the evening breeze. Water splashed into the air, the horses neighed, their tails
swaying.
"Whoa..."
His red riding attire was already soaked. Cheng Tian Yang pulled on the reins, turned his horse, squinted, and
laughed, "Your Majesty, I won!"
As he spoke, Si Cang Qing had already ridden to the stream bank, calmly gazing at the man's smiling eyes and
water-drenched hair. Steadying his horse, Si Cang Qing dismounted. Turning back, he saw Cheng Tian Yang still
riding in the middle of the water. He said calmly, "Let's get down and rest."
The summer evening was still unbearably hot and humid. It wasn't a good time for horse racing, but he couldn't
resist the man's insistence. Releasing the reins, Si Cang Qing strode to the stream's edge, looking up at the man's
smiling face.
Cheng Tian Yang pursed his lips, his eyes flickered, then he tugged at the reins. The horse took a few steps
forward, then he released his grip. He smiled at Si Cang Qing and leaped into the air.
Using his internal energy, Si Cang Qing swiftly caught the man as he jumped, then they landed together on
the bank.
The unattended horse galloped away joyfully.
Leaning against Si Cang Qing's chest, Cheng Tian Yang turned his head to look at the man's face, a smile playing
on his lips. He said softly, "Your Majesty, you're sweating a lot." He then reached out and wiped the sweat from
the man's cheek.
"It's alright."
"Come wash up!" Pulling Si Cang Qing to sit on the grass, Cheng Tian Yang took out a cloth, rubbed it in the
water, and carefully wiped Si Cang Qing's face. "Heh, horse racing in this arena is quite nice, isn't it? It would be
even better in spring or autumn."
Si Cang Qing casually responded, leaning slightly forward to let this person wipe his face, his arm instinctively
wrapping around the other's waist.
Pushing the person's chest, Cheng Tian Yang glared at him, "It's so hot, why are you hugging and cuddling!"
Seeing Si Cang Qing's lack of reaction, he had no choice but to let him be. This person was clearly aloof, not
allowing anyone to get within a few feet, yet he loved to hold his lover tightly all day long.
He was washing the cloth with his head down when someone kissed his cheek;
He wiped the sweat from Si Cang Qing's neck when someone kissed his forehead.
He turned back to wash the cloth, and someone gently kissed his cheek again.
"Your Majesty!" Cheng Tian Yang abruptly stopped what he was doing, glaring at the other man angrily. "Stop
fooling around, okay?"
"Okay."
With a reply, Si Cang Qing kissed him on the lips, his hands on Cheng Tian Yang's waist slowly kneading.
The kiss ended after a long while, and Cheng Tian Yang slumped weakly into the other's arms, letting him do as
he pleased. Feeling Si Cang Qing's hands lift his riding jacket and vigorously rub his waist, he couldn't help but
smile.
Turning his head, he gently bit the other's ear, and asked with a low laugh, "Does Your Majesty want it?"
Heh, no wonder the usually cold and aloof Si Cang Qing was so impatient... Clearly, the "punishment" these past
few days had been quite effective. He, Cheng Tian Yang, was one to hold grudges, and he wouldn't show any
mercy to Si Cang Qing.
Just like that day at the inn, every time Cheng Tian Yang aroused the other's desire, he would always stop him at
the last second with some excuse. Si Cang Qing was half helpless and half indulgent.
The result of such indulgence was that Cheng Tian Yang grew increasingly reckless and unrestrained.
Si Cang Qing didn't answer the other's question. His self-control was indeed strong, but after being maliciously
aroused four or five times without release, such restraint had become exceptionally difficult.
Weakly clinging to this person, Cheng Tian Yang's breathing became erratic… In truth, these days of "punishment"
were also a form of torment for him. However, his sordid past made him deeply repulsed by such things.
Every time he saw Si Cang Qing forcibly restrain himself to avoid thwarting his desires, a strange stirring arose
in his heart, more satisfying than lust. Therefore, even though he had long since forgiven this person, he found
himself increasingly enjoying teasing him.
A slight pain on his lips, Cheng Tian Yang slightly lifted his eyes, gazing unfocusedly at the other's cold,
handsome features, and involuntarily arched his back, pressing tightly against the other's body.
In the distance, Feng Xiang stared at the intertwined figures, his neck flushing crimson. He turned away, refusing
to look.
The front of his robe was pulled open, revealing a pale, jade-like body. Perhaps due to the heat, fine beads of sweat
seeped from his pores. His breathing grew heavier. Si Cang Qing, supporting the man beneath him with one hand,
slowly pressed him down onto the grass, his other hand tracing the exposed skin.
Lying on the soft grass, the exposed skin tickled by the blades. He squinted at the dark, golden-red sky. The
illusion of floating made him feel as if he were soaring through the heavens, a feeling of unbridled joy.
"Your Majesty..."
Cheng Tian Yang called softly, feeling his legs being gently parted. He bit his lip, suppressing a groan, and sighed
softly, "This... is the wilderness."
His body stiffened instantly; Si Cang Qing hesitated for a moment.
Cheng Tian Yang smiled, also suppressing the restlessness in his heart. He forced himself to sit up, his hand gently
running through the other man’s hair as he sighed, “You truly do take the sky as your blanket and the earth as your
bed! Let’s… go back and continue later!”
Yes, although he somewhat loathed lovemaking, he ultimately enjoyed Si Cang Qing's touch. Besides, he had
accumulated quite a bit of...desire these past few days.
Initially thinking it was another prank, upon hearing the other's explanation, Si Cang Qing suddenly tightened his
arms, took a few deep breaths, and then calmly sat up, carefully dressing the other.
The pale blue sky, the crescent moon hiding behind the western treetops, seemed to smirk.
Heavy breathing filled the air, occasionally punctuated by a low gasp. The blue gauze curtains beside the bed
hadn't been lowered in time, their golden tassels swaying wildly. Two naked bodies were tightly intertwined,
colliding violently.
With a muffled groan, Si Cang Qing's body suddenly sank, an overwhelming wave of pleasure washing over him,
oblivious to the sharp pain in his back.
His fingernails dug into the other's flesh, and Cheng Tian Yang gasped for breath.
The intimate sounds gradually subsided, a faint, sensual scent lingering in the room. Their intertwined bodies
remained motionless, rising and falling gently with their breaths.
In the steamy bath, Cheng Tian Yang leaned against Si Cang Qing's lap, eyes closed, his fingertips lightly tracing
the other's chest. Suddenly, his hand was gently grasped; he opened his eyes and smiled at the other.
“Yang,” Si Cang Qing said softly, “come back with me!”
“Alright.” Cheng Tian Yang readily agreed, then added, “Let’s stay for two more days, then go home!” As he
spoke, a subtle smile played on his lips. He had already come to regard Canghuan’s palace as his home!
Hongdu was no longer the place it once was, much like memories that had lost their way. Perhaps he should
completely cast aside that pointless past and live a new life.
In a small pavilion by the lake, Si Cang Qing was forced to lean forward against the carved railing, a book in one
hand, his gaze intently fixed on the person painting.
“Done!” Shaking his arm, Cheng Tian Yang smiled and walked over, pulling him up. “Tired?” Leading
Si Cang Qing back to the table, he turned to look at him. “What does Your Majesty think of my painting?”
“Not bad.”
Upon hearing this, Cheng Tian Yang was about to say something more when he heard a faint commotion. He
glanced sideways at Si Cang Qing, smiling sweetly, "Your Majesty, your little lover has arrived!"
Frowning slightly, Si Cang Qing strode out of the courtyard, where he saw Feng Xiang expressionlessly blocking
the young man carrying the zither.
Upon seeing the person who came out, the young man's face lit up with joy. He softly called out, "Your Majesty...
this servant has come to play for you..." Before he could finish speaking, he stared blankly at the person who
followed Si Cang Qing out, his eyes immediately turning resentful.
Cheng Tian Yang glanced indifferently at the unfriendly-looking youth, then nonchalantly looked at the cold-faced
Si Cang Qing, smiling as he leaned against him. "What, Your Majesty, you've forgotten about Prince Zixi?"
"No." Si Cang Qing embraced him, gently stroking his loose hair, and coldly ordered, "Xiang, send him back to
the Nine Heavens!"
Zixi's face turned deathly pale, and he cried out, "I...I won't go back!"
Si Cang Qing frowned, coldly eyeing the man. Truly, ignorance is bliss!
"Never mind, Your Majesty," Cheng Tian Yang sighed softly, "Since he's been redeemed, let him return to being
an ordinary person!" It wasn't that he was kind-hearted; ultimately, Si Cang Qing's actions this time were biased.
As for Zi Xi, he had a clear and satisfactory conclusion. This child came from a brothel, but had always been
well-protected. Until shortly after Si Cang Qing arrived, the brothel he used to frequented declined, and he was
taken away by Jiu Chongtian. Perhaps his sharp edges hadn't been worn down yet!
Adding to this Si Cang Qing's actions and status, it was truly…
Without another glance at the boy, Si Cang Qing lowered his brows and said casually, "Whatever!" He then
embraced Cheng Tian Yang and turned to leave without a backward glance.
This man, he was always so cruel to those he didn't care about!
Cheng Tian Yang slightly tugged at his lips and immediately changed the subject, chatting and laughing with
Si Cang Qing.
After staying at the rebuilt Tianxiang Pavilion for two more days, Si Cang Qing took Cheng Tian Yang on their
journey back to the capital. After about half a month, they finally arrived outside Luyang City.
While riding his horse, Si Cang Qing suddenly felt a gust of wind from the north and rear. He quickly dodged,
narrowly avoiding the whip of someone who had suddenly appeared.
"Shuang!" Si Cang Qing called out, frowning in confusion. He could sense the intense killing intent emanating
from him. "What are you doing..." Before he could finish, another whip lashed out.
Glancing at the two fighting, Cheng Tian Yang called out, "I'll go to the city and wait for you!"
Quickly dodging the attack, Si Cang Qing grabbed his waist and asked helplessly, "What's wrong with you?"
Pushing Si Cang Qing away, Qi Shuangran put away his whip and glared at him angrily. "What's wrong? You dare
forget my warning?"
Slightly taken aback, Si Cang Qing realized... this person must have learned of his actions in Hongdu. He knew,
of course, that those people had each sent many men to "monitor" him.
Looking at the enraged man before him, and thinking of Qiu Ping Tian in the city, Si Cang Qing rubbed his
forehead and whispered, "No."
Then he kicked the man's leg and snorted, "If there's a next time, everyone in that brothel will come and offer their
blood as a sacrifice to my whip!"
Having finished his threat, he didn't even glance at the man and swaggered towards the city tower not far away.
